Arriving Saturday. Can't wait! Can someone tell me what the water temp and viz is running?
Thanks!

Temps in the low/mid 80s with vis as far as the eye can see!

:eyebrow:

OK..... well, seriously.... we have experienced water temps in the low/mid 80's in July 2010. Admittedly never experienced temps that warm that in our 11 trips there since that time. And thinking you were using the phrase "vis as far as the eye can see" to mean great visibility. Never mind... I'll email a dive master we know there on the island to get the real scoop.

If you are flying in on Delta, I will see you on the flight!!!
I have heard that the water temp is in the low 80's and the viz changes depending on the dive site.

This is a common question with an equally common answer: "Expect more of the same." Sea temperatures in the region are predictably stable and generally fluctuate no more than 5 degrees F year round. Locals and regular visitors think the water is "cold" at 79 F (26 C) in January/February and "hot" at 84 F (29 C) in September/October.

Here's a look back at seasonal sea surface temperature fluctuation for the past 15 years:

Visibility is what it is and can fluctuate between 40' and 100' over just a few days or from one site to another.

Just back from two weeks. Temps were 83-84 most of the time (calibrated temp gauge), with occasional excursions to 82 or 85.
Viz varied with day/site, but always 30 ft plus, usually 60-80, sometimes 100 ft.
Bad on Bonaire is still good.

I was there a couple weeks ago. Water temp. was 83 degrees and visibility approx. 60-70 ft.

Thanks everyone. Bad on Bonaire is still good. That's why we love it so! We were last there in June and water temp was 78-79. So glad to know it will be a bit warmer. Exactly why we are trying a September trip this year. Hot weather but maybe warmer water. And-- we've heard from dive masters-- sometimes the best vis of the year too.
