From what I hear, locals are very happy with the zillions of moto taxis since they will actually pick them up and take them for a reasonable fee. All of which the taxi drivers brought onto themselves.

I don't know the name of these things (obviously!) but mine have given out and are falling apart. They are rectangular things that slip through the webbing on my Halycon backplate that help grip the tank. I need two of them. Halycon says that I have to buy a new webbing kit to get these two...

Yes, met up late yesterday and borrowed one. My light is now charged and ready to go. I really like these lights. They charge quickly, hold a charge well and have no o-rings to fail. I have had mine for many years now. Thanks to everyone who reached out with offers of assistance.
