Mixed bag here. I went through two PP2's. My third one is holding up fine after about 30 dives and the dealer did swap them out without a hassle. My wife otoh is still on her first and hasn't had any problems with it at all.

I hear what you're saying but... :) Focal Length - 36mm Shutter Speed - 1/40 Apeture - f/2.8 Distance - 18" or less. ISO - 50 Flash - forced, max output I really don't think there's much more that can be done, short of an external flash.
