Actually there are a few good wrecks to see in Lake Tahoe. I've never dove it but only been there to ski. I believe it was Advanced Diver Mag that had an article on them.

I log everything in the quarry. If I have a tank strapped to my back and I'm deeper than 10ft it gets logged.

Lightining will only kill within a few feet of the strike to depth, also, it will bounce across the surface of the water, it doesn't penetrate to depth. So if you wind up diving when a storm comes through, stay below the surface until the last possible second, then get out of the water to limit...

I always found a quick smack upside the head works pretty well. :D

I'm getting my adv eanx/deco hopefully early spring, diving like crazy all year, doing the Empress in early fall. I know a few who have dove it and from the description it is nothing but amazing. ...but cave training is coming first. ;)

This is a little off topic.. Unfortunately I have noticed that this is a growing attitude of many tech divers not just the DIR GUE crowd. Now don't everyone go jumping down my throat.:mooner: But I have noticed a lot of people having an attitude towards many non-techies ,that they are strokes...
