It is a little over two months to the third annual NFSA Advanced Skills Workshop/Volunteer Recognition Day. The date is August 24th at Wes Skiles Peacock Springs State Park. We will have the following clinics from 9AM to 2PM.

Advanced Sidemounting-Lamar Hires

Light Repair-Bobby Franklin

Vertical clinic-Forrest Wilson/NSS-CDS

Underwater photography-Gene Page

Introduction to hydrolabs-Kelly Jessop

Trail walks-Mike Stine

Cave Geology- Jerry Murphy

Some clinics will be held during the morning and afternoon.

Do not forget that the day includes a BBQ lunch for all participants and also in recognition of our volunteers for the past year. We will also have some door prizes and park admission will be free.

Whether you are a member or not, go to www.northfloridaspringsalliance.org to register and more more information. Registration for members is free and for non-members is $15 which just happens to be the cost of a one year membership which is included. We have had several new members join as a result of the workshop. And while you are on the website, check out our tee-shirts.

See you all on August 24. Mark your calendar
