Just a couple of shots taken with the canon g12 while diving on the ex hmas brisbane. This was my second dive with the new rig and am thoroughly looking forward to much more use in the near future as have 3weeks in hawaii and 10 weeks in indonesia this year(wakatobi/Raja). All shots taken with out additional lenses as I left them on the boat to simplify things. Deep dive/Low viz/current and new camera could be a recipe for disaster!!!! Hopefully more practice will yield better results. The macro capabilities even without a diopter are very good. Any constructive critisism is welcome!
Rig was
All ikelite with 2 X ds125's.

Thanks Ivakdiver!!!:D

I have to say you have a very good eye. Some of those suckers are very hard to find.:D I love my g12 too, wish I lived closer to my diving.

Yes some of the critters are hard to spot but lucky enough I have a good buddy that helps me find stuff. The wreck is covered in growth and is known as the coral warship! The scorpion fish are literally everywhere and once you see one your eyes adjust and you see them everywhere you look. I was unaware that the juveniles are white until we spotted the white one in the pics above..He was only about 10cm long. I have attached another pic(image 0313) that really illustrates the qualities of the adult scorpion fishes ability to camouflage its self.

Looks like the sort of place you need to be careful where you put your hands! Reminds me of the wrecks in Darwin Harbour with lots of stone fish.
