One of the first pictures from my "new to me" NikV. Taken at Gilboa Quarry this past Saturday. My buddy (the busdriver) and I did Nikon School this past summer and I just got around to successfully shooting a roll locally. (operator error on the first roll ...eek!)

Excuse the scatter....it seems more evident when I scanned and reduced.

Yup...we sunk a Christmas tree! Ya havta do something to make quarries interesting!

I liked this one too.

Nice Pics,
The bus-driver was cool, as well as the others. Local lakes quarries take a little more imagination tha tropical waters, but still fun to dive.

Finally....water and visibility I can identify with! :D

Thanks!

Fortunately there weren't too many students in the water which helped significantly with the visibility!

I'm in the Yucatan next month...hopefully I have some nifty pics of 'tites & 'mites!

They gonna let you on a boat with those lighting booms?

I've always wonder what the appeal of diving a quarry was.

Now I know: taking the bus and looking at X'mas trees. Makes perfect sense to me.

On the day in question we had deep fried turkey, sweet potato fries, deep fried Snickers bars, Armadillo Eggs, corn bread and Chocolate birthday cake. Who had time for diving?
