Adding SS1 to Biolite BCD

Plz no lectures re SS1 - thank you
Hose that comes with reg LONG relative to corrugated hose twists the reg and makes it stick out at weird angle.
First thought was an adapter to add a shorter LP hose.
Second thought was a longer corrugated hose.
Anyone dealt with this?
What did yo do and why?

You want to be able to use it while diving, so the hose needs to be long enough.

Pick the right hose length here: Regulator Double Braided Flex Hose

then buy the air 2 adapeter here:

DGX Adapter: LP Reg Hose = BC Integrated 2nd Stage

This adapter will connect any low pressure SCUBA regulator hose to your BC integrated alternate air source

Have you done the same thing? If so, what length hose did you buy? Did you lengthen your corrugated hose as well?

Nope I didn't do what you are proposing but I have an SS1 or air 2 on most of my BC's. You might have to take some measurements yourself.

I did but don't have a tank handy to see how it all falls out - ordering something today - will take it to LDS and see how it works. Thanks for your help.
