With Poseidon closing its centre at Le Meredian hotel there is now no boat diving to the southern Dahab dive sites. The only boat diving is on charters to Gabr el Bint.

I concur with Lorenzoid that after being on the liveaboard you will find Dahab shore diving tame. Sure it is accessible and easy, but that in itself is the problem, with sites like Lighthouse and Canyon getting trashed over time.

Hi, Posiden was the only boat op that does boat dives to the south. If that is true do you think we should spend more time in sharm before going to Dahab ? Thank you, Scubajeg1

Sharm is known to be busier, but from sharm you do have day boats going anywhere from strait of tiran to Thistlegorm. The sites there is plentiful and good enough for a lot of people to spend several weeks of their vacation every year there..
