I have two aeris atmos elite dive computers that are fifteen years old

I recently got back into diving and had them serviced with new batteries for the computer and the transponder

At first the units were showing low battery and not connecting until I went underwater. At that point they would connect and give pressure readings

After a couple of dives they stopped connecting all together

Has anyone else experienced this?

I think I read somwhere that the specific voltage or battery type could make a difference

Any recommendations are highly appreciated
