Hey crew, I've just joined the forum and am hoping somebody may be able to assist.
My daughter has just done her PADI OW course and I was planning to give her my old dive computer, an Aeris Atmos 1 to get her started.
I haven't used it for years and when I put a new battery in it, nothing happens. Blank screen. I can't find the manual at home and can't find it online either.
Held the single button down for ages to see if it resets, pressed it 5 times to see if that was a thing but to no avail.
I know these are an old workhorse and not integrated like my current DC but I figured it would be okay for her to begin with.
Maybe the new battery needs to charge an internal memory for a while??? I have no idea and hope it's not dead.
Any ideas welcome.
