1 cubic foot of air at standard temperature and pressure, assuming average composition, weighs approximately .0807 lbs.texdiveguy:Can someone tell me what one cubic foot of air weighs???
squicker:Whats that in proper measurements?
ie Metric. It confuses the hell out of me trying to convert from bars to psi!!
Then just stay metric! However, the question would have been phrased "How much does a liter of air weigh?" Given the tendency for cylinders to be rated in liters VOLUME rather than cu.ft CAPACITY when speaking metric, you'd probably also need to know the pressure (bar, of course) to determine the weight of the amount of air in a cylinder. (E.g., my cylinder is 15L volume and 119cu.ft capacity. Now are you confused? )squicker:Whats that in proper measurements?
