It has not been a good few weeks for dive boats in Egypt – first the Carlton Queen liveaboard capsized, and now dayboat Sea Flower has run aground off the Sinai Peninsula.
Diver Nick Bailey was on the boat with a group of other Brits and guests from around the world when the accident happened yesterday (Wednesday 17 May). Apparently, it was foggy conditions, the boat ran aground on a reef, and everyone on board was recovered after two hours trying to extricate the vessel from its predicament.
