Anyone else seeing fried egg jellyfish?

Saw one Saturday at the Avalon Dive Park. Also saw 3 Adult Black Sea Bass and 2 Juveniles in the park. I sat in the kelp bed to the east of the stairs and watched one, He swam up to within 2 feet of me.
 
I saw at least 4 or 5 at Catalina (Hidden Reef, Black Rock, and Pebble Cove) on Memorial day weekend.

Nice article. I haven't seen any up this way, though it's been several weeks since I've been out.

Incidentally, I think you mean "food" instead of "good" in this sentence of your article: "When the stingers strike potential good, they can hold it until the tentacles bring it to the central mouth on the underside."
 
Glad several of you enjoyed the column. Wow, there were several typos in the digital version (spell check wouldn't have caught them). I'll have to check the print version to see if they were corrected there. Thanks for pointing the errors out.
