Hey when you stop at Puerto COSTA MAYA do not belive them there is no where to dive. The town of Mahahual is 10 minutes ride by taxi. If you visit a stand MAYAHUAL TOURS they will point you in the right direction for diving.:)

I would like to prove your point even further nitrogenaddict2. There is a PADI Dive Centre located at kilometre marker 2.7, just on the South end of the town of Mahahual which is the town the cruise ships dock in. The dive centre is called Blue Ha and is run by two Australians who have converted the centre into an eco-dive centre. The whole centre is run on power generated by the sun and the wind.

Contact Tanya before you arrive, and she will book you in in advance.
Or, the Mayahual Tours stand at the cruise ship complex as you get off the ship in Costa Maya will be able to give you more information on Blue Ha and send you right to us. Note: they charge a (BIG) service fee just for putting you on a taxi, so why not book in yourself via email or phone! Merry Christmas everybody and enjoy Costa Maya!!
