I hear you on the air/hotel packages. That's the only reason I stayed at Fiesta Americana and dove with my favorite op. last year instead of Caribe Blu...the air/hotel package plus diving with the op. was cheaper than a hotel/dive package plus air only.
Dunno what I'm gonna do this year...probably go out to my private pier at my stock pond and grab a dos equis while listening to some popular mexican songs on cd. I think I'll start construction on a palapa out there. Or maybe just hang some palm fronds off of my EZ Up.
Or you could hop on a plane to Fiji on June 17th
