My first thought was that her dad gave her the idea. Dad helped me back in '66 with my volcano that received honorable mention.
 

Maybe… but I wouldn’t be surprised if it is sour grapes because a sixth grader scooped him. The real solution is to replace all the marine biologists with sixth graders. The marine fisheries budget would drop and something might actually get done. Every minute environmental problem is a crisis in order to secure research funds. Actually solving a problem would dry up the grants.
 
She and her father should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law... They RELEASED the fish after the experiment??? ?
Specific rules stipulate that no animals are harmed. It's amazing that this project wasn't thrown out to begin with.
