LOL well said, but over here the price diff is negligible. I wouldn't call them "mercedes" of batteries...just a tool to get the job done. How much more expensive are they where you're from?

I've used Lenmar 2500 mAh NiMH batteries here in soCal (down to 50 F) and gotten good results.

so it's about $6 more for the eneloops...double the price. Well I'd say that it's 6 bucks well spent!!
