I am interested in feedback on the best source of information for tide and current predictions for the West Coast and/or Pacific NW. By best I mean:

1. Accurate.
2. Easily accessible and understandable.
3. Comprehensive.
4. Portable (wouldn't one usually take this info on a trip?).
5. Low Cost.

I have just received a copy of the Northwest Shore Dives by Fischnaller but I am having difficulty in figuring out some of his references. I have found quite a bit of tide inforrmation at NOAA/NOS but don't see any current predictions available.

Thanks in advance for your help. Bill.

...but I ran across it searching on the web for the same answer. I found this web site that I like to use, and it not only gives tide info, it also has slack times.

This is the site that I use for current predictions, specially when diving any thing around the narrows. (day island, Titlow, sunrise beach etc.)

I use the same site ... for all west coast sites see ...

For Day Island, use Gibson Point ... there are no corrections.
