Boat diving rules in Florida?

My husband and I are planning on taking my in-laws boat over to Venice to do some shark tooth diving. Wondering if there any laws/regulations that we should be aware of when diving off your own boat? We will have 2 people on the boat while we are diving, and will also have a dive flag.
