I am Scott Stit's wife and humbled by the reaction of the dive community. Scott died using a CCR Sentinel Rebreather on initial descent in very shallow water. The Coroner has concluded that there is no medical reason for brain anoxia (not hypoxia). So no stroke, heart attack, aneurysm, etc. The OPP has seized his dive and camera equipment and is still investigating what happened in those precious first 5 minutes of what would be his last dive. I appreciate everyone's kind words and condolences.
Thank you for sharing what you know. Scott is missed by many in he dive community. My heartfelt condolences on your loss.

Thank you for sharing this Jodi, my sincere condolences. I really enjoyed Scott's presentation at shipwrecks 2016 and though I did not know him personally we had many mutual friends in the local diving community—he will be missed
