Expand your audience! "SEA-Inside: Pacific Northwest" is now airing
on over 30 community stations in the U.S. (and 1 in Canada) and the
numbers keep increasing! It is also streaming on the internet on a
regular schedule. Your video could be included in this program.
SEA-Inside: PNW accepts videos of any length -- longer ones may be
serialized to fit the format of this show. Videos below the surface
of Pacific Northwest waters are preferred. I do include some videos
about other oceans, particularly if they tell a good story about
ocean issues that people ought to know more about. No specific
percentage of underwater video is required, but the work should offer
insight into what's happing beneath the surface. I can only accept videos from people who have rights to all parts of their production, including music and name & likeness releases.
SEA-Inside: PNW is a bi-monthly, half-hour TV series, i.e. regular
episodes are produced 6 times/year, so there is no deadline. But
that's no reason to put it off -- send in your video today.
(parenthetical note: I actually accept more than video: photographs,
PowerPoint shows, music, literary works, images of paintings or
sculptures -- anything that matches the show's mission and can be
rendered visually and/or audibly on a TV will be considered. And if
you have something that still needs completing or matching up with
other talent, e.g. music or editing, maybe I can help with getting it
done.)
SEA-Inside: PNW is a non-profit project of Still Hope Productions,
Inc., in association with Northwest Film Forum, aimed at helping
people get to know what's going on in their oceans.
"We are all more likely to protect places we know and love, and
Still Hope's work to bring the wonders of the ocean out of the depths and
onto our screens is an important part of protecting the oceans."
