Well wait a minute. If that were how it worked, everything would end up at the bottom. Water, old cars, empty soda cans, stray dogs, loose change, everything! And what is down there holding everything up? I'm getting dizzy thinking about this.

If I can find it, I have a picture of me standing on my hands, at the actual pole. So, for about 10 seconds, I was!
