The Canon G1X delivers nice sharp, big underwater files once you actually spend time shooting the camera :)

One week on Bonaire wasn't enough!

nice. Thanks for sharing. How is the "shutter lag" vs the G12? And what housing did you shoot it in?
 
You wouldn't happen to know what dive site it is in the last batch of pictures where there is a diver hovering above you? That looks like a pretty serious wall!... At least for Bonaire anyway

Ikelite housing dual DS51 strobes.

All Bonaire reefs on west side gently slope down to what? 125' or so?

The sponge below diver up above pics were taken at maybe 60' - 75' if that.

Shutter lag not a problem if you practice with camera.

nice pictures...where you using a strobe and if so what kind.. I am looking at the Canon G1X as well. Which housing did you use too?
