I'd like to talk to someone that's using this combination.
In the past, I've just used the Powershot G2 in an Ikelite housing with no strobe. I upgraded to the G9 recently and decided I'll need a strobe with this camera. The Inon D2000 sounds appealing with it's optical system but I'd like to hear from some users to see how they like it.
I shoot most my images underwater in P mode & like to do macro when able. I've only been on one trip with the G9 and those pictures are posted at DougSturgessPhotography - Grandeur .
