For those who have not been able to book a boat spot for the 40th Annual Avalon Harbor Cleanup on February 26, good news: Catalina Express has added a 7:00AM departure out of Long Beach. So if you couldn't get on the 6:00AM, book the 7AM instead. It will still get you to Avalon around 8:15AM, leaving plenty of time to get to your dive station for the 9:00AM briefing and the 9:30AM start to the event.
On the way back, they've added a 6:30PM return. The 3:55PM return was sold out leaving 7:45Pm as the only other choice. Now you can come back slightly earlier.
