That show was done a while ago. IT has spread. It even showed up in a local marine preserve here in Orange County known as the "Back Bay"

To combat the issue... they are putting large pieces of plastic sheeting over the stuff and then throwing chlorine tablets underneath.

It's a real issue, nothing eats it and it's very aggressive... not to mention UGLY

...... time will tell .....
