Cave country Nov 26 or 27

By the stories I'm hearing from others having to deal with Oly, I may have my camera back(or a replacement) just in time for the spring Megadive... ugh!

While I don't really have an offseason for diving, I do slow down a bit in late Dec and Jan, so I guess if it were to happen, this is the time...

I am definitely leaning toward Ginnie for Friday. Manatee is 1 hour plus versus 35 minutes, and I really want to spend the least time in my car and have the most variety (OW, cavern, cave) available. I will probably be up for a different location around Christmas as I will be in town for the whole week, but for this trip I will need to limit my diving so I can see family.

It appears i will be around Ginnie and other places that weekend, but i might be doing more training type dives just for the fun of it and to be a buddy to my instructor's other student who is training that weekend too. So i cant say much about being free to dive, but it does sound like there are a few interested over that weekend.

So far I have yet to see anyone in either thread that plans to go and that hasn't backed out or made it clear that they can't make any firm plans. I obviously don't want ot go only to find that I have no buddy.

Therefore, unless I see/hear something in the next day or so, I will plan on seeing family this holiday and saving the dives for [edited for PC] late December.
