We made it past $16,000!!!

We start this update off with our first Platinum donation this year, coming collectively from the trio of Mike Emmerman, Pat Stockhausen, and their son TJ. Mike was last year’s DAN Rolex Diver of the year and is someone who’s an expert in disaster preparedness and response, and he and his family quite obviously well-understand how vital our Chamber is in keeping SoCal divers safe.

We also welcome a $1,000 Gold donation in memory of Cyril Parry from his daughter Shirley. Although Cyril didn’t dive, Shirley would share with him her many tales of diving adventures from around the world and he was an eager consumer of the tales.

While we’re delighted to be passing $16,000, I also have to tell you that we’re behind last year’s pace by a bit. And every donation whether it’s $100, $1000, $5000, or more, helps us on our way. Remember that our Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber is the ONLY 24/7/365 Chamber in the area. Lest you be under the mistaken impression that chambers, let alone ones trained and equipped to handle divers, and let alone ones on-call at all time, they’re not. In fact, if you’re going to be at the Beneath the Sea show this Saturday, be sure to attend the 9:30AM seminar from DAN’s Marty McCafferty titled “The Vanishing 24/7 Chambers.” Then go to our website.

We can only do all of this with YOUR help. So whaddya say? Donations can be made through this link: CHAMBER DAY 2019 DONATION PAGE . Who's willing to push us towards (or beyond) $20,000?
