We slid past $50,000!!! Our slow-down last week had me a little worried but it’s nice to see that we’ve picked up the pace a bit.

We start off with a pair of Gold-level $1,000 contributions. The first is from longtime supporters of our Chamber, Jeremy & Marlo Wolf and the Wolf Family Foundation. This donation is made in memory of David Wolf and also serves as a reminder that you can make a donation to remember someone special to you. The second donation is from a first-time contributor to the Challenge (as far as we can tell) in the personage of Stephen Raganold and we certainly appreciate that our message of supporting our Chamber has resonated with him.

We also have two Silver-level $500 contributions, also from a veteran and a newbie. The newbie is the Beach Cities Scuba dive club, Dive 949 & West Coast Tec Divers. Beach Cities supports this event in a big way on many levels and it’s good to have their club amongst the donors as well. The veteran is Ethan Bush who has been a regular contributor and who, also as a Dive Team Leader at the Aquarium of the Pacific, knows the importance our Chamber can play should their ever be an accident that needs to be dealt with.

We’ve got plenty of room to add more of you to this list. We want to again remind you that 2024 marks the 50th anniversary of our Chamber serving SoCal divers and we’d like to make the Challenge this year a record-breaking one. Will you help out and add your name? This is the direct link to the donation page: https://usc.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_88ko1OUej3lAYbI
