It's been a quiet week donation-wise so I can only assume that either everyone was focused on taxes or that many of you have fallen asleep. So two things:

1. Tax time is now behind you and you can rack up charitable contributions for next year. And . . .
2. WAKE UP!!!!

In all seriousness, we're getting down to crunch time and we've lost a little momentum. We're now inside of two week until Chamber Day (Wednesday, May 4, in case you forgot) and we really need to pick the pace back up. We've got room for you everywhere and the simple question to ask is: What's your Chamber worth to you?

Your donations, whether it's for a boat ride, a dinner ticket, a Challenge contribution, buying a t-shirt, or whatever, really do help keep our Chamber on solid financial footing. And when you remember that this is an election year, and you hear politicians talking about areas of government support that they can cut, you've got to believe that our little grant from L.A. County may fall prey to the budget ax. And that's why YOUR contribution is all that ore critical.

So please get to our website and give what you can. If everybody who dives in SoCal just gave $100 each year, we'd be rolling in dough. But they don't. And that's why we're counting on YOU. Please do the right thing.

Here’s where we are as of 1PM on 4/22/16:
