I do, I'm driving to a dive right now. Buddy just got a blacktip and I'm his sounding board. I say do this, he says DIR, I say lol, he says but DIR, and so on. 1st time in the wet since 3/6.

I've already tainted his view of DIR and he uses a blended approach. He was setting it up using DIR videos. I took his 100ft cherry as an OW and laughed when he expressed concern his training org and buddies would find out he dove beyond his cert. He's now one of my deep air buddies lol

DIR isn't inherently bad, but some of the dogma has me scratching my head. I guess they have to draw the line somewhere.. to each his own.
