Eight brave souls jumped into the St Clair river today and the verdict was that it was cccccold. Air temp was -9C and water temp 1C. The visibility was brutal, you could see your hand in front of your face if you held it close enough. I think I'll wait for spring.

The way this spring is going ... late May, Early June. Water temperatures at that time should be in the high 40's and maybe the low 50's.

I was in the river on Apr. 11th and the water was a balmy 33 degrees with ice floating down the middle of the river.

Same temp as Georgian Bay on the same weekend.
