We were specifically speaking about dslr, so I guess this item would not be able to work with it then?
This sounds like something that would be more suited to my P&S?

yes, the Inon lens you posted a link to is for a P&S.

The one I linked to is for a DSLR.

Ok, Dave. I think I'm getting it now.
The one for the dslr, could it be used with a Sigma 17-70 or Sigma 10-20 Lens and give good macros?

MOST DSLR users have different lenses for WA / Macro etc. You have to pretty much decide what you are going to shoot before you dive. The zoom type lenses aren't real great for macro & not real great for WA. In general, you need a flat port for macro and a dome for WA, thus cutting down the effectiveness of a zoom lens.

My Sigma 17-70 with a dome shoots WA quite nicely, and does just fine for Macro as well...

I do lose some magnification from not having a flat port, but I enjoy the versatility.


Marc - I don't think it would work well with the lenses you've listed, since they need domes and not flat ports
