TSandM,
Evidently I don't have your knowledge of physiology when it comes to the human body and diving, but I would like to pose a question regarding hydration.

On so many dives I see divers comsuming vast quantities of water.

The body can use only so much water. Should one be just properly hydrated or over hydrated?

This is getting really interesting :D I also have a hydration question. I was told by a school nurse that I ought to be drinking 2L a day. I cannot for the life of me handle that much fluid, I feel like a water balloon about to burst and my kidneys work just fine last time I checked. Is this another thing that varies between individuals?
