Hi

I'm a new D.M. and am looking for work in the conservation or environmental field . I got the D.M. cert . for this reason and have been planning on this a long time . I can travel and have skills that would be handy working on or under a boat .
If you should know of a job , please let me know .

Howdy!

I want to be the first in welcoming you to SB. Hope to get to know you around the forums. We have some Market Place forums you may find helpful.

Completing your Profile and seperately - keeping your Dive Info up to date helps in future diving discussions. PM me if I can help you learn your way around.

Welcome to ScubaBoard! :happywave

Good luck finding the position you're looking for. I'm not sure what the best forum would be for you post, but maybe someone with a better idea on which specific forum would be best will chime in here with an answer.

Dive safe!

Christian

P.S. Due to the high volume of new posts in the Introductions and Greets forum, it's not always possible to keep up with all the new posts here. So, please help me out and send me a PM if you post anything you want me to read or repsond to in this forum.

Hi there!

I volunteered for a reef conservation project called Blue Ventures earlier this year.
Whilst I am not sure what jobs they may have on offer over there at the moment, you may want to take a look and see what they are about.
They train people from scratch so they may need an assistant for the instructor out there. From what I am aware, everything is entirely voluntary, so may not be up your avenue, on the other hand it could be perfect. If you have any science training, or boat engine experience this would also be hugely beneficial.
I know I had the most amazing, life changing experience over there, gaining my Rescue Diver which led me to pursue a career in diving.
All the best whatever you decide to do!
