SeaLife does take mediocre pictures at best (what do you expect for the price).

The image quality of Sealife cameras is good enough to take OUTSTANDING pictures if the photographer on the back side of the camera has skills.

As long as a camera has a sharp enough lens and a reasonable amount of chip imaging quality, the camera is not the limiting factor on photography.

Good underwater photographers can make outstanding underwater pictures with a Sealife Point & Shoot, and bad underwater photographers can take HORRIBLE pictures with a $10,000 DSLR system.

It's not about the camera (assuming the camera is fully functional) it is about the person behind the lens.
