Did anyone ever inhale water through the nose while diving by accident?

Wait I thought that was how everyone cleared their masks? you mean your arnt supposed to drink the mask clear I thought that was the reason you wore a low volume mask.
 
Damn! I had no idea. I've been doing it for decades, just sucking in warm salted tap water through the nose and spitting it out, didn't know it wasn't safe.
The odds are vastly in your favor. Otherwise we'd probably all be dead by now. :D But yes, you should use sterile, distilled or boiled water.
