I am in Port Hueneme till the 15th of december. Show me or tell me about a site I should visit. hoping to do the channel islands on a boat, but I like shore diving because of the flexibility.

I am a very comfortable solo diver and normally up in the Puget Sound. Brought all my gear just need to grab some rental tanks.

Highly recommend Spectre dive boat out of the Ventura harbor, December 11th is their last day operating. Deer creek is a cool dive site at Ventura county line, as is Leo Carillo in Malibu. If you have time, drive down to Orange County and hit some of those dive sites. Shaws cove, Heisler Park, Divers cove to name a few. I might be doing the Spectre dive boat tomorrow if there’s space.
