Stoo:
I picked up a Duo last week for a back up computer. It is a nice little rig... easy to use and quite intuitive to program. Some of the digits are a tad small to read... then again I have noticed my arms getting shorter when I'm reading on land too...

The one MAJOR complaint I have is that the strap is too short to go around my drysuit sleeve (a Viking) and it uses a whimpy little pin system to attach like a watch. I don't know if this is normal, since my other computers have all been Aladdins and they use a robust "bar" to hold the straps on, and the strap is plenty long enough...

If anyone has any bright ideas to improve on the strap system I'd love to hear them. (And, no, I don't want to mount it to a slate on my wrist, or use rubber tubing!)

I have a Nitek+ and I replaced the strap (too small for my drysuit as well) an amazing strap from Trident:

It's called the "wrap strap". The thing is bulletproof. Each pin is independently held so if you bust a pin on your watch it'll still stay on. You thread it through a few rings and the thing will not move off of your wrist.

The Trident strap is actually a generic version of the Waterborne strap. Here's a link to that one:

That looks perfect. Looking at the Joediver strap (just because it's a clearer picture) it doesn't seem too long. Do you know if the Trident strap is longer? I presume that if you're diving in Wisconsin, you know about cold water too.... I looks like I can order direct from Joediver rather than trying to track down the Trident strap...

I've seen the Waterborne straps in person, but haven't actually seen how long they are. The Trident strap is perfect - I've got a couple of inches to spare even w/ my drysuit and full insulation.

I'm guessing that the bands are the same - I know they are built exactly the same, just not sure of the length. Good luck :)
