Oil Rig for 2 nights? what dive sites are you covering? If it is only the oil rig I reckoned that if you like macro, stay another night at RoachReef, great macro as well. Mabul and RRR are the closest to Sipadan, try ask if you can set off early to catch the humphead departing in their schools !!!

Am considering to going to Hin Deang/Hin Muang LOB coming Christmas (20 to 25 Dec), who's game enough to join me? 950 for 4 days diving(3 night dives) only exclude the airfare and last day's rest and relax in hadyai.

Well the detailed itinery is this:
Day1 : Arrive safely in Tawau, Check-in, Go dive shop get our gear, etc..
Overnight at Dragon Inn
Day 2: 3 Dives Mataking/ Boheyan (Celebes Sea), Overnight Dragon Inn
Day 3: Same
Day4: 3 Dives Sipadan, Overnight Oil Rig, unlimited Reef Dives
Day 5: 3 Dives Mabul/ Kapalai, Overnight Oil Rig, unlimited Reef Dives
Day 6: 3 Dives Sipadan, Overnight RRR, Optional Night Dive
Day 7: 3 Dives RRR, Overnight RRR, optional Night dive
Day 8: pack up, arrive safely back in Singapore!

Yippee! Can't wait already...any particular dive sites to recommend?

Good to hear that. 18 dives in total and most important of all, all costs are included. Hmm...looked not bad. Night dives for macro can be fun and challenging as well.

Tip and hint, buy some soft drinks and tibits on the mainland. Cos there can be not much choice at the respective resorts. When they can unlimited dives...I would say at most another dive or 2 depending on your dive plan. Current at the rig can sometimes be strong. Check if you will be guided for the unlimited diving.

And hey, am just back from Thailand diving...good dives. Lots of actions and macro. Will post a link of my friend's video for your pleasure !
