I'm a Fish!
Hello,
From what I understand it's possible to dive Bunaken and lembeh from Manado, are there any options to dive in Bangka that don't involve staying on Bangka Island?

Some Lembeh based operators would do boatrips to Bangka.
It's a long way from Manado (almost 2hrs ride car+boat), there used to be Murex doing daytrips from Manado a long time ago, when they had a property on mainland right in front of Bangka, not sure they'd still do that.
Better ask the operators (that said you'd miss a lot of dive sites).

With the high fuel costs, and of course the fact that it depends on the weather, not many resort are keen to offer these trips anymore. But the most important reason is that that there are many great resorts at Bangka and that the place is worth at least a couple of days.
