The problem started last March after I ran a 5 mile road race and I just kept putting it off because the summer was right around the corner. Anyhow, I dove until Veteran's Day and made an appt right after that. But, it took months for an initial appt, then a second one, then PT, blah, blah.... So, finally the decision was made to operate. Better than waiting another season and the specialist tells me it 's not a big deal. Gives me time to buy more gear!

Yea, it's easy to spot folks when they use the same ID

Are you heading down there this year?

We should be therre some where around the feb vacation.

Hey LobstaMan,

I know how you feel. I hurt my ankle pretty bad as well when I slipped on some wet leafs on the lake while fishing. It's been hurting a lot for 3 weeks already. I finally went to the emergency room last week but they took an x-ray and stupid doctor said everything looks fine. But everything is not fine, I can feel something twitching like a torn muscle or ligament there and the pain has increased. I don't know if I should wait more or seek more medical help. I hate doctors, they just want to get rid of you as fast as possible.
