It's Lake Nahuel Huapi, near Bariloche, Argentina. The ash/pumice is from the Puyehue volcano volcano in Chile.

It looks very ashy but I suspect it's mostly pumice. You can see open water in the distance, the pumice is being blown ashore.
 
Even worse than Nova Scotia after a Noreaster.
 
I know a farmer that dropped a tool box in a sludge pond over at the pig farm. Think those guys will come over an get it for him? :)
