...but given that DUI's boots are so close to Converse, yet are quite popular, I think the bigger boots are rarely needed, except for exceptionally harsh conditions. Also, the smaller the shoes, the less likely you are to need new fins when switching between wet and dry.
 
They do have a sole on them, They fit but my toes seem to cram up and it seems to be pretty loose, I think i need smaller fins instead of my fins with my wetsuit boots.
