Good article! I have been referring people to Dr. Kay's page, but this is also very well written. A few controversial points in it (about decongestants), but they mention two of my favorite cheap, safe tricks - the Neti Pot for nasal irrigation and the Oto-Vent (more for kids, but good if an adult really can't get the hang of the Valsalva).
