This is my first post on Scubaboard.

Has anyone on this forum purchased gear, particularly computers, from the besharalaw.com internet site, and if so, what was your experience. I haven't been able to find out much about it. On their "About Us" page, it states that their name is "Internal Outlet" and from what I gather from googling "Internal Outlet", they seem to be affiliated with Alibaba.

Here's how I came upon the site. Although I really don't need a new computer, I was perusing the Leisurepro website and came across the Aeris A300 AI at what seemed a very good price. (At the time, $425, but now $450.) Anyway, to get more info on that computer, I googled "Aeris A300 AI Review". On the 3rd google page (now page 2), I came across the bashiralaw.com website. They had the Aeris for $360. But, they had lots of other dive computers, too. For example, the Atomic Cobalt 2 was listed at $48 (that was not a typo, $48). The A 300 CS was $129. Obviously, I'm skeptical.

I've e-mailed the website a couple of days ago, asking about who they are and how they are able to sell a $1300 dive computer for $48. Also, asked about warranties. They haven't responded, yet. Somewhere on their website they state that many ebay and amazon sellers buy from them. (Could be a Leisurepro source.) First, I am not advocating this company as I know nothing about it. (There is [or was] a law firm by the name of Beshara. Nothing on the law firm's (cached) website shows that it sold merchandise.) ​

I'd definitely buy a computer from a website that used to be a law site that was hacked and taken over by a third party.

Not to mention a website that titles their webpage "divingvalves"

And one that copied all the "trust" logos on the bottom of the page but doesn't actually link to any of them.

Any scammer with a reasonable amount of effort can copy pages of website design and post it as their own work. It takes $9.95 to register a domain name and hosting is as cheap as $1.95/month. Although in their case it appears they've hijacked a besharalaw account so are doing both for free since Enom is the domain registrant for the law site. My guess is Beshara no longer exists but forgot to shut down their website.

Notice that the e-mail contact address is a gmail.com account? I can create a new one of those in 30 seconds...

I'd also really trust a site that has no actual contact information on the site. Don't send them any form of payment you can't recover.
Although you probably never will if you do.

A quick Google search indicates they also sell fake Viagra...

Could be a Leisurepro source.

What does this mean?

Leisurepro is a real company. They buy surplus gear from other real dive companies. And more recently are licensed dealers for most of them so buy direct in volume from the same real dive companies...

If it's too good to be true...

Great reply. I always try to check out online companies that I deal with. This is the first one that has raised a lot of suspicions.

My comment on that website being a possible supplier to Leisurepro relates to Leisurepro, like several photography suppliers in NY, buying gray market items. That's all. And, I don't think you can tell from Leisurepro's website which items are gray market vs which items Leisurepro is an authorized reseller. I don't think that Leisurepro would tell the general public how it gets gray market items - maybe it would. This is not to say that I wouldn't buy from Leisurepro, in fact I have. But, I believe that I've purchased all of my, let's say, life support equipment, from my LDS. Fins, wetsuits, from Leisurepro.

The easy way to tell is items that specify they come with our in-house warranty that matches or exceeds the manufacturers warranty instead of the manufacturers warranty are currently bands we aren't authorized dealers for.
