which plug did u get? Can u post the link. At first i had this:
Fiber Optic Cable Adapter Set for Compact Digicams [rpv.foa] - $24.95 : Reef Photo & Video!, The Underwater Photo Pros the block was ok but the the plug came out while testing on land so i opted for the more expensive x14 blocks which i mentioned on my first post. I used extra strength 3M double face tape with the x14 block and not the velcro, now it is like a mould-ed connector on the case. Very Strong, cable does not pop out, should last a long time(longer than i will own the g11)

think the other stable connector would not be necessary for a point and shoot like g11
what do you mean? How much more? G11 might be point and shoot, but it is not my moms camera :)
