We've never had the same experience as Leafyseadragon, and we've been diving with LD since 2004. They DO talk about the profile being "65 feet for 30 minutes" but we've never been held to that. My log books show we haven't had a dive less than 50 minutes with them since 2006 (before that we sucked through our tanks faster).

Just got back from 12 dives with LD the first two weeks of August, only ones we had shortened were at Molokai as the conditions dont allow for the group to be split up but even then it was 40-45mins. They are pretty good about grouping you with people that match your skill / experience. The big boat also makes for quite enjoyable crossings such as riding up top or on the deck at the front.

I think both ops are good, just comes down to convenience. Lahiana Divers shop is a short walk from where the boats are docked. You get back and 50 yards from the docks is Captain Jacks where you can stop for an ice cold beer. Nuf said!

I know this thread is starting to age a bit, but just to add, both ops are decent, but for me it comes down to the atmosphere. With the dives I've done with LD, there was a bit too much attitude by the DMs. With EH, the atmosphere has been way more comfortable and relaxed, which is usually what I prefer when vacation diving.
