Misread this at first as being a PT boat. Been looking for a pair of F-106s and and a F-104 in Lake Huron that went down in the 60s. 3 P-51's have been found and we located a 2 army biplane's mounted with a .30 cal. One of them has the poor pilot in it.
Do you have threads on this stuff? I’d love to see those planes.

I've mentioned them in other threads. The P51, 47, and 39 were found by other divers.

Our two deep(er) water discoveries of the biplanes are featured in a DVD we made through the Undersea Research Associates.

The lower Lake Huron F-106 was partially salvaged, but most of the plane was left there. Unfortunately the location was lost and finding it has been quite difficult.
